Thirteen years after the tragic passing of her boyfriend Derek Underwood, Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham has honored his memory with a heartfelt tribute. Underwood died in a car accident in 2008 shortly before Abraham gave birth to their daughter, Sophia.In a recent Instagram post, the 30-year-old reality star shared a photo of herself with Underwood and Sophia, who is now 13 years old. "Today marks 13 years since my first love was taken from me," Abraham wrote in the caption. "My heart is still heavy with the pain of losing you, but I know you're always watching over us."
Abraham also reflected on her healing journey, saying that she has been through "so many ups and downs" since Underwood's death. However, she added that she has found strength in her memories of him and in the bond they shared with their daughter.
"I'm so grateful for the time we had together, and I cherish every single memory," Abraham wrote. "You will always be in my heart, Derek. I love you."
