Type-Moon and Aniplex Announce Remaster of Fate Visual Novel for Switch

Type-Moon and Aniplex have announced Fate/Stay Night REMASTERED, a remaster of the original Fate visual novel from 2004. The remaster will be released for the Nintendo Switch in 2024.

Fate/Stay Night is a visual novel that follows the story of Shirou Emiya, a high school student who is drawn into a deadly Holy Grail War. The game features a branching storyline with multiple endings, and has been adapted into several anime series, films, and video games.

Remastered Features

The Fate/Stay Night REMASTERED will feature several new features, including:

• Updated graphics and sound effects
• A new game mode that allows players to skip through scenes they have already seen
• A gallery mode that includes artwork and music from the game
