SpaceX preparing to launch Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base

Launch window opens Sunday

SpaceX is poised to launch another Falcon 9 rocket this weekend, marking the company's first launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base since January.

The rocket is set to carry the Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission (ASBM) into space from Vandenberg, which is located on California's central coast.

If all goes according to plan, the Falcon 9 will lift off from Vandenberg's Space Launch Complex 4 at 1:45 a.m. PT on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

This launch will be the 100th orbital flight of a Falcon 9 rocket since its debut in 2010.
