Authorities have deployed a massive security operation in Paris to keep the event safe.
I am trying to find out if the time we want to go to Paris - the last 2 weeks of May 2024 - will be impacted. Parts of Paris have felt quieter during the Olympics. I strolled from the Left Bank with its quintessential cafes, art galleries, and bookstores to the Right Bank with its grand museums, shops, and restaurants, and found relatively few people about. I even had the rare experience of walking straight into the Louvre without waiting in line.
